Medbury has benefited from the generosity of numerous donors over the past 100 years. We would like to thank them for the wonderful facilities we have to date.

From the purchase of "Ripsford" at 109 Clyde Road in 1923 to the recent refurbishment of Ballantyne House in 2023, each milestone in Medbury's history has been made possible through the incredible support of our community. Donors have contributed to iconic developments, such as the construction of the swimming pool in 1935, the opening of Chennells Hall in 1975, and the Medbury Centre in 2003.

As we look ahead to future projects, including the refurbishment of the Stephen Scott Memorial Pavilion in 2025, we remain deeply grateful for the contributions that have shaped Medbury into the school it is today.

Please see the timeline below for a visual representation of Medbury’s journey and the lasting impact of your generosity.

“Today, private and independent institutions are dealing with many demands. Not the least of these demands is the necessity to modernise and develop an institution’s physical facilities. The imperative is not only to suit changes that have occurred but to also be forward-looking and flexible enough to meet the ever-changing future of education.”
