Golds at both the P&I Champs and the ISSA Champs:
At the Canterbury Primary and Intermediate Ski Race Day on 27 August at Mt Cheeseman Jack McMillan placed 2nd in the Years 5 and 6 category and Freddy Gorman placed 1st in the Years 7 and 8 category. The Years 7 and 8 team placed 3rd overall in the Intermediate section.
At the ISSA Ski Race Championships on 22 August at Porter Heights the Medbury Red team (Ollie Brown, Thomas Nustrini Patterson, Freddy Gorman and Oscar Abbott) were placed first in the boys’ Years 7/8 Boys category and Oscar Abbott was the fastest boy overall. The Year 5/6 team (Ted Jones, Archie Matheson, George Unwin and Jack McMillan) also won first place. Ted Jones won first place (fastest boy) in this section.
Well done to all the boys who competed in these events and thanks to Old Boy Josh Brown who came up to the ISSA event to assist.
