On Friday 23 August, the Middle School boys shared their learning in Kapa Haka with their parents and caregivers.
The boys experienced the correct use of protocol relating to their performance, beginning the concert with the haka.
Waiata included 'Tohora Nui', 'A Haka Mana', 'Pa Paki Mai', 'Waitaha E' and 'He Honore'.
Thank you to our comperes Remi Read and Henry Dy; our Year 8 Kapa Haka leader Liam Dodds; Maaka Kahukuranui for teaching the boys the haka and waiata, and leading the showcase on the day; and Lower Middle School Team Leader, Erin Sutherland, who planned and organised the event.
